Done.

October 20, 2009

So the mid-terms are over, the hardest of all papers from my law research class is handed in, and I finally have time to catch my breath for essentially the first time in ten days.

(Still have a class tonight, but that’s the one class, above all others, I’ve been looking forward to since the start of term – the first of two three-hours class over which we get to study at depth the entire business of the Canadian Supreme Court ruling on Quebec independence (no to unilateral independence, but no to Canada refusing to recognize a clearly expressed wish for independance on Quebec’s part, or refusing to negociate Quebec’s departure).

Probably will have a few new posts coming soon. There are some books I would like to talk about that I’ve been reading lately, there’s one of the local subway newspapers that has done an interesting survey into “What defines Quebec culture and the Quebec identity” that has yielded some interesting answers, I want to talk about that. And of course I’m sure I’ll have some pictures to put up eventually.
